Dr. Fariba Paryavi received her bachelorate degree from Kansas State University in 1989. She then pursued her dental education at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, and received her Doctoral of Dental Surgery in 1994. She started private practice in 1994 in Maryland. In 1995, Dr. Paryavi pursued her postdoctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. In 1997, she was awarded a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Training Program and a Master's degree in Oral Biological Sciences.

Dr. Paryavi has been in private practice since 1994 in Maryland and D.C. She also holds hospital privileges at nearby hospitals, where she offers "Full Mouth Dental Rehabilitation" in the operating room under general anesthesia for the very young and the special needs patients.                              
 
Dr. Paryavi is a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, Maryland State Dental Association, and Maryland Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Paryavi resides in Maryland with her husband and three children (2 daughters and a son). She enjoys such activities as computers, painting, reading, and plain family fun.

Dr. Paryavi believes in very high quality treatment, the kind that she would want for her children. She also believes that patient's comfort is of utmost importance during dental procedures.
